Hotel Amenity Fee
As a convenience to our guests, we have combined our most widely used services and amenities in the amenity fee. The amenity charge of $20 USD (plus tax) per occupied room is a daily charge and includes:
- Wireless Internet Access (in-room and throughout the property - using own personal computers or devices)
- In-house Fitness Center (open 24 hrs), plus discounted passes available to 24 Hour Fitness Super Sport Club
- Self Service Business Center (open 24 hrs) - Complimentary Internet access, printing and copying services
- Surfboard Storage: self serve locking surfboard racks with unlimited use during your stay.
- Children 4 and under eat free at the Oceanarium Restaurant Buffet with a paying adult
- Local, toll free and 60 minutes of Long-distance calling to the mainland USA or Canada
- Eco-Friendly logo water bottle, refillable at purified water stations throughout the hotel
Deposits, Guarantees & Payment
A valid credit card is required to guarantee and secure your online reservations. The credit card provided will be charged if you have requested a pre-paid room, or if the cancellation policy for your reservation applies. This card must be presented upon check in, along with a valid photo identification of the cardholder and registered hotel guest. The name on the credit card provided must match the name of the registered hotel guest. On the day of arrival, the hotel will pre-authorize your credit card to ensure sufficient funds are available to cover the charges for your entire stay. In addition, a refundable security deposit for any incidentals may also be required upon check-in. For reservations confirmed with 7 nights or longer, it is our company policy to settle all charges every 7th day during your stay. Should the credit card decline or be invalid, another form of payment will be required or the reservation may be subject to cancellation without notice.
Valid forms of payment include: credit card, debit card, cash and travellers cheques. Please be advised that personal checks are not an acceptable form of payment. Please note, if a debit card is used to either guarantee your reservation or used as the final method of payment, the authorized funds per the above, will be held until after you checkout. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
Note: If accommodations will be guaranteed by someone other than the registered guest, please contact our Reservations Office at (808) 923-4511 to fill out a credit card authorization form. If sufficient payment is not received 24 hours prior to the hotel guest’s arrival date, the reservation may be subject to cancellation without notice and cancellation penalties will apply.
Cancellation or Non-arrival
Unless otherwise specified on the rate selected, hotel must be notified of modifications or cancellations at least 3 days prior to your scheduled arrival date to avoid a charge of one night's room rate. A fee will subsequently be processed on your credit card provided at time of booking. Deposit and cancellation requirements may vary for special rates, events and holidays.

Late check-out charges (subject to availability) collected directly from registered guest: $20 USD plus 13.962% tax for every hour after 11:00am to 5:00pm. Additional night charge plus taxes and fees applicable for check-out requests after 5:00pm (Room rate and original inclusions subject to change, please inquire at the front desk).
Special rates do not apply to group bookings of 10 or more rooms and are based on arrival date and length of stay. Should you decide to depart before the minimum length-of-stay requirement is fulfilled, rates will revert to the current prevailing rate.

No charge for children 17 years old and under occupying the same room with parents, unless additional bedding is requested.
Extra Person / Rollaway Bed Charges
$50 plus taxes per additional person (18 years of age and older), or rollaway bed per night (max 1 per room)
Car rentals require the driver to be a minimum of 25 years of age. Additional surcharges apply: Hawaii state daily vehicle surcharge, airport concession fees, gas and optional insurance. Car pick-up and drop off is located at Honolulu International Airport.
Car package specials include a compact rental car through Dollar Rent A Car and car reservations will be arranged when your online booking is made. Additional charge for a rental car will only be applied if requested and is not included in the original rate.
All rates are subject to Hawaii State Excise Tax of 4.712% and Accommodations Tax of 9.25%. Taxes subject to change without notice.
